A couple of beautiful fluke ID from Geoff Gardner on his catamaran sailboat Windrush. Laura Lyell has matched this to NAHWC#3229 first identified in Newfoundland in 1980

Another of Geoff's fluke IDs. This one is almost all black with some distinctive scars

And a third one from Roland Lines on Ocean Potion taken between Argus and Challenger Banks. Fishermen keep telling me that throughout January they have seen whales offshore whenever they have been out fishing and waters were calm enough to spot the whales. Where was I when these were taken? Down on the Silver Bank with Elsa. Those photos and videos will be up as soon as I have the chance to process all the data
