"Where the Whales Sing" screening today Thursday 17th November 2011 6.30-8.30 Bermuda College, North Hall G301. Tickets $10 available at the door, kids/students free. This 60-minute documentary is narrated by my daughter Elsa when she was six. She will be there to answer any questions about making the film and I will also have copies of my latest book, "Whale Song: Journeys into the Secret Lives of the North Atlantic humpbacks" for sale as well as "The Turtle who ate a Balloon" and "The Toad with One Eye".  I will update on our research over the last two seasons since making this film.

"Where the Whales Sing" was an award winner for best emerging underwater filmmaker at BLUE Ocean Film Festival, a high honours winner at the Princeton Environmental Film Festival, was selected as a finalist at the Nations Capital Environmental Film Festival, won an award as the best environmental film at a film festival in Croatia where it also won the audience choice award. It has been translated with Spanish subtitles for the Environmental Film Festival in Dominican Republic. Recently it won the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art 2011 Charman Prize
