It's tagging time again in the Southern Hemisphere... Claire Garrigue and Op Cetaces in New Caledonia have a bunch of tags out on humpback whales at present.  Some are still hanging around New Caledonia, some have moved to the seamount reef habitat that tagging discovered a few years back (Antigonia Reef), one is way, way south already... and two others have gone a long way west.  This work is directed by Claire in collaboration with the National Marine Mammal Lab, and Ygor Geyer.
